End of Life and Disposal

The EMPower Box is marked with the symbol for electronic/hazardous waste due to the lithium-ion battery.

Upon determination that the EMPower Box has reached its end of life, it should not be placed in standard household waste. Instead, it should be placed in a clear plastic bag and must be sent to a municipal hazardous waste recycling center.

Upon determination that other components of the EMPower System have reached their end of life, they may be placed in standard household waste.
