• The Ohm Empower App must be installed on the iOS device

• Wireless connection using Bluetooth 4.2
• Encrypted data transfer between Empower Box and iOS device
• Internet connection required.
• Security Specifications
• Data transferred between devices is encrypted using AES-256 bit encryption
• No personal data is transmitted outside of the local Bluetooth connection
• Automatic connection timeout after 5 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery.

Note: The Ohm Fitness Empower System transmits muscle stimulation settings and timing data from the Empower Box to the EMPower IOS Application over the Bluetooth connection. No other data flows occur over this local IT network.

Note: If Bluetooth connection is lost, the EMPower Box will automatically cease stimulation to mitigate the risk of loss of control leading to unintended muscle stimulation.
